Concord women post comeback at Wesleyan

Oct. 19—BUCKHANNON — The Concord University women's soccer team rallied from a 1-0 deficit as it defeated West Virginia Wesleyan, 2-1, Wednesday night in a Mountain East Conference game at Culpepper Stadium.

Sydney Tucker scored both second half goals for Concord (9-3-2, 8-2-1 MEC). Graduate forward Alexa Todd took a game-high eight shots while junior midfielder Leah Fleming and Tucker both added five shots.

Junior forward Nora Voisey was credited with the assist on Tucker's second goal.

CU remains on the road to face West Virginia State 6 p.m. Sunday.
