Colts finish 2020 at No. 14 in USA TODAY’s final power rankings

The Indianapolis Colts are looking forward to the offseason and putting the 2020 campaign behind them. With so many question marks, this offseason will be a big one for Indy.

As Super Bowl LV wrapped up the 2020 season with Tom Brady winning yet another ring, the Colts finished at No. 14 in USA TODAY’s final power rankings, done by Nate Davis.

14. Colts (11): Appropriate that a team in Indianapolis would have a beautifully crafted race car … but no idea who’s going to drive it.

That’s the biggest question for the Colts right now. Who will be the quarterback? Of course, we won’t know for a few months. The Colts could go after a veteran in free agency and/or move up in the draft for one of the top four prospects.

But the Colts also have other questions to answer. They don’t have a left tackle after Anthony Castonzo’s retirement. They need to find more productive edge rushers. Cornerback is a big question mark.

All of those positions are in play when it comes to free agency and the 2021 NFL draft but as we know, the Colts are tight-lipped throughout the offseason and are very good at not tipping their hand.

The Colts have a strong roster but are in limbo right now because of their needs. They can easily jump up in the power rankings with the right moves this offseason, which should make for a fun couple of months.
