Colts’ Brandon King, Kameron Cline injured in preseason Week 2

Indianapolis Colts linebacker Brandon King and defensive end Kameron Cline were injured during the 27-26 preseason loss to the Detroit Lions on Saturday at Lucas Oil Stadium.

King left during the second quarter and was ruled out with a hamstring injury. He didn’t play a defensive snap and saw just six snaps on special teams.

Cline went into the medical tent during the fourth quarter and eventually into the locker room to be evaluated for a concussion. He didn’t return and it’s safe to assume he will be placed in the league’s concussion protocol.

Colts cornerback Isaiah Rodgers is still in the concussion protocol from the preseason opener while linebacker Shaquille Leonard is still on the PUP list after undergoing back surgery this offseason.

Defensive tackle Chris Williams (lower leg), offensive tackle Dennis Kelly (knee) and Keke Coutee (groin) did not play due to their respective injuries.

Defensive tackle R.J. McIntosh, linebacker Jojo Domann, safety Armani Watts and safety Will Redmond did not play presumably due to undisclosed injuries.
