College golf: 2022 NCAA men’s conference championship dates and results

Conference championship season is underway in men’s college golf, with all roads leading to the NCAA Championship at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Arizona, next month.

Teams score an Automatic Qualifying spot in NCAA Regionals by winning their conference title, which is a big deal for any team that might find itself on the bubble for an at-large postseason selection.

Southwestern Athletic Conference

Date: April 18-20
Course: The Refuge Golf Club (Flowood, Mississippi)

Texas Southern claimed a three-shot win to earn the SWAC title at 22 over thanks to five players finishing inside the top 20, led by William O’Connor in third at 1 over. Prairie View A&M’s Zane Brooks claimed medalist honors at 2 under following a 3-under 69 in the final round to finish as the lone player under par.
