Highlights: Gaylon Glynn threw for 354 yards and four TDs, while Hawley junior Colton Marshall ran for 106 yards on six carries, including a 46-yard TD, and he also caught a 29-yard pass for a TD as No. 8 Hardin-Simmons blasted Albright on Friday night at Shelton Stadium.
Cooper grad Noah Garcia had a 7-yard TD run on the Cowboys’ first possession for the only score HSU needed.
HSU outgained the Lions 628-269 in total yards and picked off two passes.

Highlights: Birmingham-Southern blocked a game-tying PAT, and McMurry turned the ball over on its next possession as the Panthers escaped with the one-point victory Thursday night at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock, Arkansas.
McMurry trailed 20-0 going into the final quarter, but freshman quarterback Jess Hoel, an Abernathy grad, threw a 21-yard TD pass to Kristopher Martin on fourth-and-4 to make it a one-point game with 4:22 remaining.
Earlier in the quarter, Anson grad Drew Hagler ran for TDs of 1 and 2 yards — the latter with 7:45 to play after a 50-yard pass from Hoel to Karmelus Card.
The Panthers got a 4-yard TD run from Mitch Thompson — one play after a 50-yard run by Kobe Hughes — for the game’s first score with 7:50 left in the first quarter.
Matt McClary threw a 47-yard TD pass to A.J. McLemore late in the second quarter and an 83-yard TD pass to Thomas Speed early in the fourth quarter for a 20-0 lead.
