Coachella Valley Firebirds to play two preseason games at Acrisure Arena in October
Coachella Valley Firebirds fans who don't want to wait until the season opener on Oct. 13 to see their favorite AHL team are in luck.
According to the Acrisure Arena website, the Firebirds will play two exhibition games at Acrisure Arena prior to the season. It's a luxury locals didn't have last year with the Arena not opening until December.
The 2023 Calder Cup finalists will play the Ontario Reign on Friday, Oct. 6 and the Henderson Silver Knights on Sunday, Oct. 8. The Firebirds will open the season with a home game against the Bakersfield Condors at Acrisure Arena on Oct. 13.
Tickets for the two preseason games go on pre-sale Wednesday. If you are a 2023-24 season ticket holder, the games are included in your package.
Individual regular-season game tickets are not on sale yet, though season tickets are available. For all ticket inquiries, visit CVfirebirds.com.
Hockey fans can also see an NHL preseason game at Acrisure Arena on Oct. 1 when the Anaheim Ducks play the Arizona Coyotes. That game is also part of a 2023-24 season ticket holder's package.
