Clemson softball in 2023 ACC Tournament: Tigers' seed, opponent, schedule revealed

No. 10 Clemson softball will be the No. 3 seed in the 2023 ACC Tournament.

The Tigers (45-8, 18-6 ACC) will have a first-round bye and face No. 6-seed North Carolina on Thursday (7:30 p.m. ET, ACCN). If Clemson wins, it will play either No. 2-seed Duke, No. 7-seed Notre Dame or No. 10-seed Georgia Tech in the semifinals Friday (1:30 p.m., ACCN). The championship game is Saturday (1 p.m., ESPN2).

Clemson has made the ACC Tournament final in each of the last two seasons but lost both times, first to Duke in 2021 and then to Florida State in 2022.

Clemson will play North Carolina for the first time this season. The Tar Heels (24-26, 13-10) won their last four straight ACC series and finished the regular season with a midweek win over Furman.
