Pittsburgh Steelers beat Cincinnati Bengals in NFL Week 12 | Highlights, Replay

The Cincinnati Bengals (5-5) face the Pittsburgh Steelers (6-4) at Paycor Stadium in an AFC North Showdown. The Bengals enter the game without quarterback Joe Burrow, who was designated for IR Friday and is out for the rest of the season, as well as wide receiver Tee Higgins.

The Steelers enter the game without former offensive coordinator Matt Canada, who was fired midweek. It's the first midseason firing of a Steelers coach since 1941. The Bengals lost last Thursday to the Baltimore Ravens and the Steelers are coming off a loss to the Cleveland Browns.

Pittsburgh is favored by 2.5-points and the over/under point total is 36.5, according to BetMGM.

Just when it appeared the Pittsburgh Steelers would score the first points of the game, Cincinnati Bengals' defensive tackle Zach Carter forced a fumble. Defensive back D.J. Turner returned the ball to Cincinnati's 39-yard line where the Bengals take over.

Quarterback Jake Browning's first series resulted in a three-and-out after he fumbled the ball on third down. Steelers defensive end T.J. Watt got a strip-sack on Browning as the pocket collapsed, but tackle Jonah Williams and the Bengals were forced to punt. Punter Brad Robbins punted the ball to the Steelers' 49-yard line where it was fair caught. Pittsburgh begins its second drive at the 39-yard line after a holding penalty on the punt.

The Bengals deferred to the second half after winning the coin toss and the Steelers came out with a pass play to tight end Pat Freiermuth for 24 yards. The Steelers' drive then stalled and they punted, which resulted in a touchback.

Cincinnati is a home underdog for first time this year

The Bengals were favored in home losses to the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans this year with Burrow playing, but this marks the first time Cincinnati is a home underdog this year.

Cincinnati is 9-7-2 against the spread as a home underdog during head coach Zac Taylor's tenure. The Steelers are 4-5-1 as an away favorite during the same period.
