Cincinnati Bengals’ history with the franchise tag

The Cincinnati Bengals don’t figure to use the franchise tag this year as they eye the future beyond next season.

Still, the window to tag players opened this week and that means it’s a nice time to look back at the history of the Bengals and tag briefly, starting with Bates’ tag from last season.

Here’s a look at every time the Bengals have used the franchise tag and at what amounts.
