What channel is Louisville vs Kentucky women's basketball game on today? Time, TV schedule

Kentucky football has had Louisville’s number in the last five meetings. The Cardinals’ women’s basketball team, however, has returned the favor with six straight wins over the Wildcats.

No. 18 Louisville (8-1) will go for seven in a row when UK comes to town for the rivalry game Sunday. Cardinals coach Jeff Walz has emphasized the importance of the game to his team, many of whom are new. Returning players Olivia Cochran and Merissah Russell have never lost to Kentucky (4-6) and will look to keep that streak intact this season.

Cochran (11.3 points) is one of three Cardinals averaging 10 or more points. The others are Kiki Jefferson (team-high 12.2 points per game) and Sydney Taylor (10.9).

Louisville has won four in a row after defeating North Carolina A&T, 80-40, last Sunday. Reserve Eylia Love had a double-double (10 points and 10 rebounds), and five Cardinals reached double figures in scoring.

After winning its first two games this season, Kentucky lost five straight. The Wildcats have lost two of their last four, including a 76-57 loss to Minnesota at Rupp Arena.

The Wildcats are being outscored, 71.6-62.9, this season despite three players averaging double digits: Ajae Petty (15.9 points per game), Maddie Scherr (14.0) and Eniya Russell (10.6).
