The Pistons will try to to avoid extending their franchise record losing streak to 17 games when they welcome the Cleveland Cavaliers to Little Caesars Arena on Saturday night. Perhaps the return of last season's leading scorer, Bojan Bogdanovic, will help.
The Cavs beat the Pistons, 108-100, two weeks ago in an In-Season Tournament game in Cleveland, falling down 14 at the half. Darius Garland had a game-high 28 points for a Cavs team without Donovan Mitchell. Mitchell will be back for this rematch.

The Cavs have been underwhelming in the season's first quarter. Unfortunately for the Pistons, they face another team coming off a bad loss. The Cavs were upset by lowly Portland, 103-95, despite having their starting lineup intact Thursday in Cleveland.
The Pistons next play Wednesday vs. Memphis.

Detroit Pistons injury report vs. Cleveland Cavaliers
Forward Bojan Bogdanovic (right calf strain) is probable to make his season debut. He last appeared in a game March 1, so we'll see how he looks in his first NBA game in nine months. Bogdanovic scored 21.6 points per game last season and shot 41.1% on 3s. ... Ausar Thompson (facial fracture) is probable to play. ... Guards Monte Morris (right quad strain) and Joe Harris (right shoulder sprain) remain out. Morris, yet to make his Pistons debut, is out through January.
The Cavs won't have sixth man Caris LeVert (left knee), forward Dean Wade (right ankle sprain) or reserve guard Ty Jerome (right ankle sprain). Emoni Bates (two-way contract) won't make the trip home.

The Pistons made a lineup change in Thursday's loss to the Knicks, removing Jaden Ivey and Ausar Thompson. It will be the first time this year the guard duo has started.
