The Saints (3-4) are playing their third straight game against the AFC South. New Orleans is coming off losses to the Houston Texans and Jacksonville Jaguars, and it has lost four of its past five games. The Saints have had some extra rest after playing the Jaguars on Thursday night in Week 7.

Tom Pelissero, NFL.com, Colts 24-20: Neither of these teams has been very consistent this year, but I'll take my chances on the Colts' shoulder-shimmying chaos over the Saints' discordance. Gardner Minshew might turn the ball over a handful of times; at least Indy can also move it down the field and into the end zone, thanks to a solid collection of pass catchers and a resurgent Jonathan Taylor. Derek Carr and the rest of New Orleans' offense looked hexed last Thursday against the Jaguars. I don't think they'll be able to loosen up on the road, especially if Alvin Kamara's illness lingers.

Mike Florio, Pro Football Talk, Colts 20-17: Indy put up 38 against the Browns. They won’t need that many against the Saints.

Bill Bender, Sporting News, Colts 30-27: Two struggling teams meet. The Colts have committed four turnovers in back-to-back weeks against the Jaguars and Browns. The Saints have lost by a TD each of the last two weeks, but they are 2-2 S/U on the road. Indianapolis is a first-time favorite, and the Saints are 1-0 ATS as an underdog. Jonathan Taylor scores the game-winner late in a game that morphs into a little bit of a shootout.

Brian Blewis, Pro Football Network, likes the under in total points: These are two of the eight-worst offenses in the NFL by success rate. The Colts put up 456 yards of offense last week against the Cleveland Browns — I’m betting on that not happening for the second straight week.

Brett Sobleski, Bleacher Report, takes the Colts: With the Colts finding an identity with a shared backfield between Jonathan Taylor and Zack Moss, Gardner Minshew making the (mostly) smart underneath passes and a defense that will make Derek Carr be patient to potentially force him into a mistake, they will take advantage of a struggling Saints squad that has lost four of its last five games.
