Central Michigan football pulls off comeback to win at Ohio, 30-27
Central Michigan scored 10 points in the fourth quarter, including a 28-yard touchdown pass from Daniel Richardson to Kalil Pimpleton with just under 4 minutes left, to lift the Chippewas to a 30-27 win over Ohio on Saturday in Athens, Ohio.
Lew Nichols III had 30 carries for 186 yards and a touchdown for CMU (3-3, 1-1 MAC)
Sieh Bangura's 40-yard touchdown run, his only carry of the game, along with a successful two-point conversion gave the Bobcats a 27-20 lead with 11:57 to go in the game. But on the next possession, Marshall Meeder booted his third field goal of the game to cut the lead to four.
After CMU forced a punt on Ohio's next possession, Richardson led a seven-play, 83-yard drive that included a 26-yard pass to Dallas Dixon to put the Chippewas in Bobcat territory, setting the stage for the go-ahead touchdown.
Richardson was 16-for-30 for 257 yards, one touchdown and two interception.
Ohio dropped to 1-5 (0-2).

Eastern Michigan 13, Miami (Ohio) 12: The Eagles defense allowed 385 yards but no touchdowns in the win Saturday in Ypsilanti.
Ben Bryant was 21-for-31 for 206 yards and a touchdown, a 16-yard pass to Bryson Cannon in the second quarter.
EMU (4-2, 1-1) gave up two field goals in the second half, but also two punts. The RedHawks (2-4, 1-1) went seven plays and 34 yards on their final possession, but the drive stalled after EMU forced a pair of incompletions near midfield.
Ball State 45, Western Michigan 20: Drew Plitt threw for 310 yards and four touchdowns for the visiting Cardinals (3-3, 1-1) on Saturday in Kalamazoo.
The Broncos (4-2, 1-1) had four turnovers, including two lost fumbles, despite winning the time of possession battle, 36:23 to 23:37.
Kaleb Eleby was 20-for-34 for 258 yards and two interceptions and a rushing touchdowns. La'Darius Jefferson had 21 carries for 65 yards and a TD.
Ball State opened the game with a 75-yard touchdown pass from Plitt to Jalen McGaughy, but the game was tied, 17-17, at the half.
WMU took a three-point lead on a short field goal midway through the third quarter, but the Cardinals ended the game with a 28-0 run that culminated with a 18-yard fumble return for a touchdown by Brett Anderson II.

Davenport 18, Northern Michigan 13: Blake Daniels was 13-for-32 for 140 yards and a touchdown for the host Panthers (2-4, 1-1 GLIAC). Bryan Plegue had three field goals (40, 27, 25). DJ Stewart and Tyquan Cox each had touchdown runs for Northern Michigan (3-3, 1-1).
MIAA
Alma 28, Kalamazoo 3: Trent Devereaux was 20-for-29 for 232 yards and three touchdowns for the visiting Scots (5-1, 1-0 MIAA). Two of those scoring passes went to Nathan Goralski (six receptions, 90 yards). Alma outgained Kalamazoo, 382-120. Kalamazoo dropped to 1-5 (0-1).
