Cardinals have official top-30 meeting with TCU OL Steve Avila

The Arizona Cardinals, like all NFL teams, are permitted 30 formal prospect visits to the team facility where they can fly them in, tour the facility, have dinner with them and more.

According to Ryan Roberts, the Cardinals are one of five teams who have a top-30 visit scheduled with TCU guard Steve Avila.

Avila is considered one of the top guard prospects in this year’s draft and is projected to go as high as in the second round.

Avila is 6-foot-3 and weighed in at 332 pounds at the NFL combine. He ran the 40 in 5.21 seconds, had a 7.85-second three-cone, a 29.5-inch vertical leap and 8-foot-6 broad jump.

He started at center in 2021 and moved to left guard in 2022. He did not allow a single sack last season.

He is someone the Cardinals could definitely add in the second or third round of the draft.
