Caitlin Clark climbs two more spots in the all-time women’s college basketball scoring ranks
Caitlin Clark authored another performance for the history books in the Iowa Hawkeyes‘ 94-71 win over the Minnesota Golden Gophers.
Logo threes were falling, step-back threes were falling and Clark was dishing out assists like the Christmas season of gifting wasn’t over just yet. Clark finished with 35 points on 13-of-22 shooting, including 8-of-16 from 3-point distance.
In the win over the Gophers, the West Des Moines product overtook Hawkeye legend Sam Logic for No. 1 on Iowa’s all-time assists list with a second-quarter helper to redshirt junior guard Kylie Feuerbach. Then, she went ahead and passed Ohio State great Samantha Prahalis for the Big Ten’s all-time assists record.
As we’ve been tracking all season long, though, the scoring numbers against the Gophers have Clark climbing the all-time women’s basketball scoring charts, too.
She moved past a pair of names on Saturday. Let’s take a look at the updated all-time women’s college basketball scoring ranks and where Clark checks in after 35 points against Minnesota.
