Buffalo Bills release OL Daryl Williams

The Buffalo Bills made an important salary cap move on the eve of free agency’s start. The team announced that offensive lineman Daryl Williams has been released.

In cutting Williams, the Bills save $6 million against the salary cap. Prior to the move, Buffalo was only slightly over the cap but now the team has some breathing room.

In an added layer, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported that the two sides “will remain in touch.” He added a return to the Bills is not out of the question.
