Buffalo Bills at Philadelphia Eagles: Predictions, picks and odds for NFL Week 12 game

The Philadelphia Eagles (9-1) are flying high after beating the Kansas City Chiefs in Arrowhead Stadium for revenge from Super Bowl 57.

Now, Jalen Hurts and company return home to face another usually mighty AFC team, the Buffalo Bills (6-5), in a Sunday game at Lincoln Financial Field.

The Eagles are the only one-loss team in the league. Even with their star quarterback hobbled with a knee injury, Philadelphia beat the Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphins after its defeat at the hands of the New York Jets. The Eagles boast one of the toughest run defenses in the league, previously only allowing 66 yards per game before Kansas City racked up 168 on them.

The Bills, meanwhile, rebounded from a two-game losing streak with a 32-6 win over the Jets. Josh Allen has thrown an interception in seven straight games. He did throw three touchdowns in the AFC East victory. The Buffalo defense kept New York out of the end zone and forced four turnovers — two fumbles and two interceptions.

Will the gritty Eagles keep their win streak alive? Or will the Bills have enough momentum for the road upset?

Lorenzo Reyes: Eagles 27, Bills 22

Philadelphia has been one of the most complete teams in the NFL and is balanced both offensively and defensively. The Bills had an excellent showing against a very good Jets defense last week and may have course corrected from their mid-season slump. But Buffalo’s lack of a No. 2 receiver and stretches of offensive stagnancy make it hard to back in this spot.

Tyler Dragon: Eagles 28, Bills 23

The Eagles (9-1) have the best record in the NFL. The Eagles can beat teams in a variety of ways. But their offensive and defensive lines are going to cause fits for Buffalo. The Bills are too dependent on Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs. Those two won’t be enough to topple the Eagles in Philadelphia.

Safid Deen: Eagles 27, Bills 23

The Eagles are flying high over their win against the Chiefs, and should take care of the Bills in another tough matchup. Buffalo just lacks depth defensively and it’s not the ideal opponent for the second game Josh Allen has Joe Brady as his offensive coordinator.

Victoria Hernandez: Eagles 24, Bills 20

The Eagles are a gritty team and last week did something few in the league have done — beat Patrick Mahomes in primetime at Arrowhead. Philadelphia returns home this week to face an inconsistent Bills team that has a very one-dimensional offense. Jalen Hurts will power his squad to another win in front of their adoring fans.

Jordan Mendoza: Eagles 33, Bills 28

Buffalo got a much needed reset against the Jets, but the Eagles are no cakewalk, as the defense turns up the pressure against Josh Allen to force mistakes. Philadelphia is 13-2 in its last five home games, and they get another big win in the Linc.
