Brownwood boys place sixth at UIL state golf tournament

The Brownwood boys golf team finished eighth overall after firing a two-day score of 633 at the UIL Class 4A state golf tournament on Tuesday at Legends Golf Course in Kingsland.

Hudson Reagan led the Lions with a two-day score of 155, which included a 74 on Tuesday. The Brownwood team featured also featured Sir Jones, Caleb Modawell, Cobe Walker and Peyton Sharp.

Wimberley's Jaxon Donaldson shot a 136 to win the Class 4A tournament and the Bridgeport boys won the team title with a 589.

In Class 2A, Roscoe’s Xander Moffet shot a two-day score of 170.
