Brock Purdy throws 2nd TD vs. Dolphins to give 49ers halftime lead

49ers rookie QB Brock Purdy had a touchdown pass dropped late in the first half by RB Christian McCaffrey. One play later he got his TD by targeting McCaffrey again. The three-yard score was Purdy’s second TD pass of the day in relief of Jimmy Garoppolo who left in the first quarter with a foot injury. Purdy ended the half with a very good two-minute drive. He was 12-of-19 for 116 yards with two touchdowns and one interception overall in the first half.
