British Open 2022: First round tee times, TV channel, streaming info for first round at St. Andrews

The 150th Open Championship gets underway Thursday, July 14 at the Old Course at St. Andrews in Scotland. Nicknamed “The Home of Golf,” the course is home to some of the most iconic spots in the sport, from the Swilcan Bridge on the 18th hole to the infamous Road Hole.

Tiger Woods, who was awarded an honorary membership on Wednesday, went as far as calling it his favorite course ever.

Despite the history of this weekend, the conversation has been centered around discussions of LIV Golf (despite none of their players faring well in pre-tournament betting odds) and the fact that their spokesperson, Greg Norman, was not invited to participate in the weekend’s festivities.

While you can book a round for yourself at the Old Course, it may be best to watch from your couch as the professionals battle deep fescue, massive double greens, and whipping winds.
