Brewers' Gomez leaves game with shoulder injury
Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Carlos Gomez left Sunday's game against Atlanta with a shoulder injury sustained while leaping into the center-field wall to make a catch of a ball hit by Andrelton Simmons.
Brewers officials said Gomez suffered a left shoulder sprain and is listed as day-to-day for now.
Gomez, 27, is hitting .314 with 12 homers and 14 stolen bases in 71 games this season.
He signed a three-year, $24 million contract extension with the Brewers in March.
