Bradley Chubb is confident Broncos’ offense will ‘figure it out’

After the Denver Broncos’ defense played exceptionally well and allowed just 12 points on Thursday, the team still lost because their offense only managed to score nine points.

After the game, Broncos outside linebacker Bradley Chubb was asked if it’s frustrating to see the offense struggle to score points when the defense plays so well.

“No, not really,” Chubb said. “Because at the end of the day, we know they’re going to figure it out. It’s just a matter of — it could be this play, could be the next play. We just keep our head down, control what we can control.

“You said we had a good game; I feel like we could have done better those last two drives. Gave up three both times and put us in a position we don’t want to be in. Could have ended it a little earlier. As good as we think we’re playing, we just have to be even better.”

That’s a fair point from Chubb that the defense allowed a field goal drive to send the game into overtime and then allowed another field goal that ultimately decided the game in overtime. But even with those six points allowed, that shouldn’t be too much for the offense to overcome.

Denver’s defense might not be frustrated with the offense, but fans certainly are. The unit needs to turn things around — quickly.
