BRACKET BREAKDOWN: MIAA announces boys and girls high school basketball tournament field

The road to Tsongas Center starts now.

The MIAA announced the high school basketball tournament pairings on Saturday.

Cape Cod will be represented by nine boys basketball teams and nine girls basketball.

Div. 4 on the girls and boys side has the most local flavor with five team each. Sandwich (Div.3) and Bourne (Div. 4) are both ranked seventh in its respective divisions, while St. John Paul II is also in the top 10 at ninth in Div. 5. The Bourne boys are the highest-ranked team on Cape Cod, coming in at No. 2 in Div. 4.
