Behind a big second half, the Mason boys soccer team is headed to the state semifinals.

The No. 11-ranked Bulldogs recorded a 3-0 victory over host Dearborn Divine Child on Thursday night in a Division 2 regional final. The win gave Mason its 10th regional championship in program history and first since 2015 when it finished as the Division 2 state champion.

Blendi Jahiri, who scored the game-winner in Tuesday's semifinal victory over Riverview, scored a pair of goals and Alex Palmer added the other for the Bulldogs (12-2-5). All three goals came in the second half with Palmer breaking the scoreless tie in the early stages. Jahiri added the final two.

With the win, Mason advances to Wednesday's state semifinal at 6 p.m. at North Farmington High School. The Bulldogs will face the winner of Saturday's regional final between Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook-Kingswood and Warren DeLaSalle.

ALMA 2, FREMONT 1:

The No. 8-ranked Panthers claimed a regional title with their victory Thursday in a Division 3 regional final. The win was the 17th straight for Alma (20-4) and sends it into a state semifinal against No. 2-ranked Hudsonville Unity Christian at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at at Cedar Springs.
