Boys basketball roundup: St. Clair erases double-digit deficit to stun Cros-Lex

Here are some notable results from Friday's boys high school basketball games in the Blue Water Area.

St. Clair 44, Croswell-Lexington 41

Despite trailing 30-16 at halftime, St. Clair managed to outscore Cros-Lex, 28-11, in the second half.

Braylon Frantz finished with 18 points for the Saints (3-1). Gavin Espinoza led the Pioneers (2-1) with a game-high 25 points.

Clintondale 50, Marine City 40

Liam Adams amassed 17 points, nine rebounds and four assists for Marine City (1-3). Cole Forest chipped in seven points.

Peck 64, Akron-Fairgrove 55

Thomas West posted a team-high 24 points for Peck (2-0). Cal Heiden followed with 16 points, while Cody Cairo had 10.

Yale 64, Sandusky 51

Three players scored in double figures for Yale (3-0). Jackson Kohler led the way with 22 points, Ryan Monarch notched 15 and Andrew Hubbard added 10.

Gabe Drabant had 12 points for Sandusky (1-3). Jack Betts followed with 11.

New Haven 72, Marysville 34 (Thursday)

Mekhi Radford-Donawa totaled 12 points for Marysville (0-4). Isaac Allen and Cole Horan each had six points.

Port Huron Northern 67, Port Huron 53 (Thursday)

Four players scored in double figures for Port Huron Northern (2-1).

Cam Harju dropped 17 points, while Alex Jamison added 13 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Amir Morelan and Malik Thompson each had 10 points.

Garrett James led Port Huron (0-3) with a game-high 20 points. Jovan Foy contributed 12.
