What are the Boston Celtics missing to win an NBA title?

In the wake of the Boston Celtics’ 2022 NBA Finals series loss to the Golden State Warriors, the front office now turns its attention to the task at hand regarding next season’s roster — namely, how to get back to and not lose the 2023 NBA Finals.

Such an undertaking is of course easier to pull off than talk about, but the team’s shortcomings in the 2022 Finals can give us some clues as to what might help make such a lofty plan work. More veteran minds calming the players when the going gets rough. More ballhandlers. More shooting. More passing.

What sort of players should the team target to add these things? What can they work on internally?
