Boris Diaw scores 26, Spurs squeak by Thunder to win Conference Semifinals

Tim Duncan earned a double-double, scoring 19 points and registering 15 rebounds, to help the San Antonio Spurs slip by the Oklahoma City Thunder, 112-107. San Antonio won the Conference Semifinals 4-2 over Oklahoma City, reaching the Conference Finals.

Duncan shot 6-14 from the field and 7-8 from the free throw line. Other top performers for San Antonio were Kawhi Leonard with 17 points and 11 rebounds, and Manu Ginobili with 15 points and six rebounds. The Spurs withstood another big game from Russell Westbrook, who put up 34 points on 8-23 shooting (1-6 on 3-point attempts), in addition to going 17-18 from the free throw line. He also tallied eight assists, seven rebounds and six steals. Kevin Durant contributed 31 points and 14 rebounds.

Oklahoma City hung in there with San Antonio, but ultimately they did not have enough to win the series. They had an outstanding regular season (59-23) that carried over into the playoffs, however, they just didn't have enough to get past the Spurs.
