Boonsboro's Piper Meredith leads the 2023 All-Washington County golf team

Here are The Herald-Mail's 2023 All-Washington County high school golf selections:

Player of the Year

Piper Meredith, Boonsboro

Meredith, a sophomore, had the county's best nine-hole scoring average (38.1 strokes) while winning girls individual titles in the Washington County, Central Maryland Conference and Maryland District 1 Class 2A-1A tournaments. She finished second overall in District 1 Class 2A-1A (with the county's top score, a 73), third overall in the county tournament, fifth overall in the CMC (with the county's top score, a 74), and sixth in the Maryland 2A-1A girls tournament.

All-Washington County First Team

Ryan Acre, Williamsport

Acre, a junior, ranked second in the county with his 38.4 scoring average. He had the top score by a county boys player in the District 1 tournament, finishing fifth in Class 2A-1A with a 74. He finished fourth in the county tournament and tied for 18th overall in the CMC tournament.

Cody Booth, South Hagerstown

Booth, a junior, ranked sixth in the county with a 42.2 scoring average. He finished sixth in the county tournament and had the county's fourth-best score in the District 1 tournament, shooting an 80.

Kadan Jones, Boonsboro

Jones, a junior, won the county tournament title in a playoff after shooting a 76, and ended the season with the county's third-best scoring average (38.6). He shot a 77 in the District 1 tournament, the second-best round by a county golfer on that day, and tied for 16th overall in the CMC tournament.

Luke Leisinger, South Hagerstown

Leisinger, a sophomore, ranked fifth in the county with a 42.1 scoring average. He tied for seventh in the county tournament and had the county's sixth-best score in the District 1 tournament.

Danny McElroy, Saint James

McElroy, a junior, ranked fourth in the county with a 40.1 scoring average for the Saints.

Jack Rhodes, South Hagerstown

Rhodes, a junior, ranked seventh in the county with a 42.3 scoring average. He tied for seventh in the county tournament, had the county's fourth-best score in the CMC tournament and shot the county's fifth-best score in the District 1 tournament.
