New Jersey soccer player scores on wild flip throw-in

Can you score a goal from a throw-in? If you're Hackensack (N.J.) High star Randy Gordon you can.

As first noted by Bob's Blitz, the Comets star launched a massive flip throw-in during a game against Ramapo (N.J.) High. While Gordon was clearly attempting just to get the ball into the box, he received much more than he bargained for when his throw-in sailed all the way into the back of the net, despite an acrobatic save attempt by the Ramapo goalie.

Over in England, at League Two side Burton Albion, Rory Delap quietly smiled.

Gordon's throw-in might not be the goal of the year, but it's certainly one of the most unique you'll ever see.
