Sharks to give away amazing Brent Burns Chia Pet
Three years ago we documented the hairy evolution of Brent Burns, from his clean-shaven baby face in 2005 to his current state as the NHL’s head wookie.
So it’s about time that the San Jose Sharks took advantage of Burns’ unique look and used it as part of a ticket promotion.
If you’re lucky enough to buy one of these packages for their March 28 game against the Los Angeles Kings, the Sharks will give you a Chia Burns, which will allow you to grow out the hair and beard to your liking.
Brilliant idea. We haven’t seen a giveaway idea this great since minor league teams created bobblefist dolls for the likes of Joel Rechlicz and Dennis Bonvie.
If this promotion goes over as well as we think it will, the obvious next move is a Joe Thornton bobblebeard.
