Braden Holtby preserves shutout on stupendous glove save (Video)

Braden Holtby really, really wanted a shut-out against the Buffalo Sabres.

Evander Kane had an almost certain goal on his stick with a minute to go in the game against the Washington Capitals and the Sabres down by two.

Then Braden Holtby happened, as he has multiple times throughout the season.

Someone just give Holtby the Vezina Trophy now.

The shutout is Holtby's second on the season. With the win, he improved to a best in the NHL 23-4-1 record and league leading 1.86 GAA. His only blemish is the second ranked .935 SV%. (It's a joke, relax.)

By beating Buffalo, the Capitals extend their win streak to eight games, and are 9-1-0 in their last ten.
