Strikeforce pulled off a major coup for its card in St. Louis adding Andrei Arlovski for a fight against Brett Rogers. Arlovski (15-6) is one of the top five heavyweights in the world and needs to rebuild his image after losing to Fedor Emelianenko back at Affliction 2 in January. The unbeaten Rogers (9-0) is looking for a step to the next level. It's a perfect matchup.
What does this mean for Affliction's third card? Arlovski, a former UFC heavyweight champ, is under contract with the apparel maker. Does Rogers stand any shot in this fight? On a side note, Strikeforce is a tight ship. There hadn't been any chatter about this fight anywhere before today's press conference.
