Bills’ Brandon Beane starts 2023 NFL draft presser with perfect joke (video)

Brandon Beane knows how to pull off trades… he also can deliver a punchline pretty well, too. We saw both happen with the Buffalo Bills general manager at the 2023 NFL draft.

Following the first round, Beane spoke at his usual press conference as the team holds after every round. As Round 1 went, the Bills ended up trading up two spots to select tight end Dalton Kincaid.

Now let’s circle back to before the draft. At that time, Beane said he’s more likely to trade back in the first round… and that didn’t happen.

Let’s let Beane take center stage now. How’d he take the podium after moving up the board?

“I lied,” Beane joked.
