Big-time buckets and more: Vote for the High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week

Calvary Chapel Academy's Seamus Hanlon has been voted the High School Boys Basketball Player of the Week.

Hanlon collected over 15,000 votes to earn the honor. Hanlon scored 30 points in a 66-53 loss against Holbrook.

And this week's candidates are...

Jeremiah Predin, Sr., Canton: Predin scored 23 points and grabbed 9 rebounds in a 77-71 win over Milford.

Thomas Edwards + Josiah Guerrier, Avon: Edwards starred in wins over Atlantis Charter (32 points, 8 rebounds) and Hull (27 points). Guerrier had the winning bucket in overtime in a 72-70 win over Holbrook. He also finished with 20 points and 16 rebounds.

Seamus Hanlon, Calvary Chapel Academy: Hanlon scored 29 points and was 17 of 18 from the free-throw line in a 53-47 win over South Shore Charter Public.

Ryan Mutschler + Tyler Vincent, Hanover: Mutschler scored a career-high 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a 71-66 win over Scituate. Vincent drained a buzzer-beater 3-pointer to lift the Hawks a 46-43 win over Hingham.

Edric Louissaint, Sr., Weymouth: Loussaint scored the winning bucket with 2.1 seconds remaining in a 61-60 win over Natick. He also scored 24 points in an 82-66 win over Abington.

Pa'Reese Rosario, Jr., Southeastern: Rosario scored 20 points in a 56-55 win over Cardinal Spellman.

Ivan Yhomby, Sr., BC High: Yhomby scored 17 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter in a 61-59 win over Malden Catholic.

Nelson Thevenin, Jr., Plymouth North: Thevenin had 18 points and 14 rebounds as the Blue Eagles defeated Marshfield, 56-39.

Sam Larsen, Jr., Cohasset: Larsen starred with 28 points and 17 rebounds in Cohasset's 46-25 win over Sandwich.

Nathan Rateau, Sr., Brockton: Rateau scored 13 of his 21 points in the fourth quarter in a 58-45 win over Bridgewater-Raynham.

Dominic Capaccioli, Jr., Blue Hills: Capaccioli scored 26 points in a win over Upper Cape Tech. Both teams entered play at 7-1.

Lenny Tangishaka + Marquis White, Thayer Academy: Tangishaka scored 25 points while White had 24 in a 65-64 win over Governors.

Deshawn Faulk, Jr., Bridgewater-Raynham: Faulk scored 27 points in a 56-54 overtime win over New Mission.

Nick Bellofatto, Sr., Westborough: Bellofatto ignited for 25 points for the Rangers defeated Marlborough, 61-50.

Alex Burgos, Sr., Blackstone Valley Tech: Burgos poured in 25 points with six rebounds and five assists in a 62-52 overtime win over Bay Path. He scored 10 points in a win over Assabet earlier in the week.

Niko Chaplain, Fr., AMSA: Chaplain hit four 3s and scored 22 points in the Eagles’ 46-31 win over Assabet.

Dasha Domercant, Sr., Bellingham: Domercant scored 19 points off the bench for the Blackhawks in a 51-21 home win over Ashland.

Logan Greenlaw, Jr., Keefe Tech: Greenlaw notched a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds in a 56-46 win over Main South.

Jordan Lopez, Jr., Algonquin: Lopez led three double-digit Titan scores with 16 points in a 57-50 win over Wachusett.

Patrick Madden, Jr., Hopedale: Madden scored a game-high 19 points and helped the Blue Raiders pull away in the fourth quarter in a win over Worcester Tech. He also had 20 points in a loss to Douglas.

Sean O’Leary, Sr., Franklin: The reigning Hockomock MVP dropped 24 points to push the Panthers to their fifth straight win, a 91-34 thrashing of North Attleborough.

Liam O’Neill, Sr., Natick: The senior posted a double-double with 25 points and 11 rebounds in a 71-55 win over Lincoln-Sudbury.

Jono Windle, Sr., Dover-Sherborn: Windle scored 22 points for the Raiders in a 66-51 win over Holliston.
