Big 12 women’s basketball tournament in Kansas City: Bracket, schedule, tickets
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Big 12 Women’s Basketball Tournament returns to Kansas City this week, but unlike years past, this time, teams will play in a new venue.
The Big 12 women’s tournament, for most of its history, has played at Municipal Auditorium in downtown Kansas City. That all changes this season.

Instead, the women’s tournament will play at T-Mobile Center, just like the men’s tournament.
The women’s event will run March 7-12 and the men from March 12-16.
“They deserve to be in a world-class venue,” Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark said in 2023 when announcing the change.
The Big 12 is also in discussions on another extension to keep the Big 12 championships in Kansas City through 2031, Yormark said last fall.

But for now, the focus is on the 2024 tournaments. On Sunday, the Big 12 Conference released the bracket for the women’s championship.

Premium seating options range from $35-$85, dependent on the session, and sideline reserved seats range from $15 for early rounds to $25 for the championship game.
