MINTY BETS: It's UFC Fight Night this weekend at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. I'm joined by Kevin Iole to give us his best bets for the main event, which is a light heavyweight bout between Thiago Santos, -175, versus Johnny Walker, +145. What are your thoughts on this one, Kevin?
KEVIN IOLE: Well, a lot of ways you can go with this one, Minty. I mean, this is crazy. Both guys are kind of on bad streaks right now. Johnny Walker is 1 and 2 in his last 3. Thiago Santos is 0 and 3, so we have basically 1 in 5 combined in their last 6 fights. But when you look at who they've been fighting and especially who Thiago Santos is fighting-- Jon Jones, Glover Teixeira, Aleksandar Rakic, I think we can understand why. And I think I'm going to pick Thiago Santos here for a couple of reasons. Number one, Johnny Walker is kind of wild and does all sorts of crazy, risky moves. And that's the wrong person to do it against, Thiago Santos. Thiago Santos is a guy that will take advantage of those kind of big mistakes that Walker inevitably makes. You know, we can talk about Thiago's last 3 losses, but look at who he's beaten over his career. Jan Blachowicz, Jimi Manuwa, Kevin Holland, Gerald Meerschaert, Jack Hermansson, Anthony Smith-- a lot of guys. So I think, you know, the experience, edge, and the accomplishment edge belongs to Thiago Santos. I will lay the money here and I will bet Santos to win this at -175.
