MINTY BETS: UFC Fight Night takes place this weekend at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event is a middleweight bout between Sean Strickland, minus 250, and Jack Hermansson, plus 190. I'm Minty Bets joined by Kevin Iole to give us his best bet. Kevin, give it to us.
KEVIN IOLE: I'll tell you what, Minty, I like Sean Strickland in this fight. You know, first of all, it's a very important fight in the division-- number six versus number seven going at it. And when you look at who the top five are, I think that this is a shot where you're going to see the winner jump into the top five, especially if it's an impressive victory. So I think it's an important fight.
I like Strickland to win this fight here. You know, Hermansson has a really good solid game, good grappling, but I think he's kind of leveled off. And I think Strickland is a guy that you see going up right now. And his game is really improving coming off a really impressive victory over Uriah Hall.
And he had that motorcycle accident where they told him he may never fight again. And I think we're just now getting to see him back into what he could have been and the development he was on. It took him a while to get back to being in his prime form. So, I like Strickland to win this fight. I wouldn't even be surprised if he stops and given that he's going to have five rounds to do it, but I'm going to go ahead and play Sean Strickland by decision here.
