ARIEL EPSTEIN: What's going on Yahoo Sportsbook? I'm the Prop Queen, Ariel Epstein, with two NBA player props for tonight's Western Conference Final. It's the Golden State Warriors hosting the Dallas Mavericks in a Game Five. I've got a prop for each side. Let's start with the one I have loved this entire series.
It's the over six and a half rebounds plus assists on the Warriors' shooting guard Klay Thompson. He's gone over this number in three out of the four games against the Mavs. Last series where the Mavericks faced the Suns, the shooting guard for the Suns, Devin Booker, went over six and a half rebounds plus assists in all but one game.
Thompson just missed this one. He didn't hit it in the last game. However, some of these numbers have even hit by halftime in a few of the earlier games against the Dallas Mavericks. So I'm going with the over. Six and a half rebounds plus assists on Klay Thompson.
For my second prop, it's the Dallas Mavericks' power forward, Dorian Finney-Smith. Over five and a half rebounds. You could get this in plus money, around plus 110, plus 100. Finney-Smith has gone over the number in all but one game so far this series. This is because the Warriors are playing much more small ball. It's the death lineup on the floor, which basically means Draymond Green's playing center. Everyone else is smaller than him on the court.
Usually, a center is someone like a Suns center, Deandre Ayton, or the Jazz center Rudy Gobert. When you compare those two to Draymond Green, he's not as big as those players. That's why you're able to get someone like the power forward of the Mavericks in Dorian Finney-Smith to grab more rebounds. I like his over five and a half rebounds in plus money.
