JARED QUAY: Stanley Cup Playoffs, May 21st. First up, we got the Washington Capitals taking on the Boston Bruins. The Bruins are favored at minus 160 with the over/under at 5 and 1/2. Washington is 4 and 1 straight up in its last five on the road. Meanwhile, Boston is 9 and 1 straight up in its last 10 at home.

What I'm looking forward to in this game is that every one of these games has went to overtime. I think the Capitals probably need this one a little more than the Bruins, so they'll be hungrier. Because if they lose this one, I don't see them winning three straight. So it's pretty much a must-win game, and so I'm leaning more towards the Capitals on the moneyline.

Up next, we got the Carolina Hurricanes taking on the Nashville Predators. The Hurricanes are favored at minus 145 with the over/under set at 5. The total has gone under in four of Carolina's last five games and also under in five of Nashville's last six games against Carolina. So needless to say, I got my eye on the total with both teams trending towards the under. But things could open up with Nashville being down 0-2, so we'll see what happens.

Before I get to our last two games, I need you to take advantage of our risk-free bet by going to betmgm.com/yahoo. Up next, we got the Winnipeg Jets taking on the Edmonton Oilers. The Oilers are minus 160 favorites with the over/under set of 5 and 1/2. The total has gone under in five of Winnipeg's last seven games. And Edmonton is 12 and 6 straight up in its last 18. What I'm looking forward to in this game is the Oilers to come out strong after being upset in game one at home. If the Jets can pull off another road victory, the Oilers are gonna have some real trouble on their hands.

Last but not least, we've got the Colorado Avalanche taking on the St. Louis Blues. The Avalanche are minus 200 favorites with the over/under set at 5 and 1/2. Colorado is 7 and 0 straight up in its last seven, and the total has gone under in six of St. Louis' last nine games.

What I'm looking out for here is the fact that the Avalanche are one of the hottest teams in hockey. Minus 200 is a lot of juice to lay, but still I think it's a safe bet. Have you seen their defense? St. Louis is a great team, and they could upset anyone. But I still think I'm riding the Avalanche train here. I'm sledding down that snow with the Avalanche, baby.
