MINTY BETS: The NFL season is upon us. It is Week 1 of the regular season. I'm Minty, that's Jared, this is Pam, and we are here to give you our best bets. Let's start with you, Jared. What's your best bet of the week?

JARED QUAY: People aren't gonna like my pick, but I'm sticking by my guns. I love it with five-star confidence. I like the Washington Football Team to handle business against the Chargers, moneyline. I think this is a perfect setup right here. You've got a second-year quarterback in Herbert. You've got a first-year coach, a West Coast team traveling to the East Coast, and you've got the Washington Football Team that's the best D-line in the NFL, and so I think that's gonna cause a lot of havoc. Ron Rivera is a good coach who knows how to run the ball. And so I don't know why so many people are so high on the Chargers. They'll be good, but they're not winning this first game. I like the Football Team to start off 1-0, so five- star confidence.

MINTY BETS: OK, Jared. I like the Chargers, but I can't complain. Your pick was good. Now, Pam, hopefully a more exciting game?

PAMELA MALDONADO: I don't know if I would call it exciting, but I'm gonna go with the Falcons at home. Arthur Smith, I'm really high on him as a coach. He's coming over from the Titans, and now he is the offensive coordinator, calling the plays as head coach for the Falcons. You want to give me Arthur Smith, one of the best offensive geniuses in the NFL, mixed with Matt Ryan, who we know is fully capable of doing deep, long passes, and what do these two love? They both love play action. I think it is a match made in heaven. And Philadelphia, they were 26th in passing defense efficiency last year, and look at that secondary. I think Matt Ryan, mixed with Arthur Smith, better than all of those combined. I love the Falcons at home.

MINTY BETS: Interesting. All right. I have to go to probably the most anticipated game on the board, the Chiefs and Browns. I'm taking the Browns +6.5. Guys, the Super Bowl loser, dating back to the year 2000, are 4-17 against the spread in the next season's Week 1 opener. The Chiefs were 6-9-1 against the spread last season. They sucked at covering the spread, and the Browns are a different Browns team than we've seen in years past. This is a great revenge spot. This is a playoff revenge game for the Browns. Let's go Browns +6.
