MINTY BETS: At long last, it is NFL week one. I'm Minty Bets. And joining me is Mark Drumheller to help me preview some of the match-ups that we're looking at, that we believe we have a slight betting edge in prior to Sunday kickoff. So Mark, I'm going to toss the mic to you first, and tell us which game you're looking at and who you're betting on.

MARK DRUMHELLER: I can't wait to see Jalen Hurts against this Patriots defense. And let me explain why I'm backing the Eagles as four-point road favorites. New England's defense was one of the best in the league statistically last year. But as ClevAnalytics pointed out in his NFL preview, Bill Belichick didn't have many answers when facing some of the league's better quarterbacks.

Lamar Jackson torched the Pats for 37 points. Kirk Cousins lit them up for 33. And that wasn't even Sunday, Kirk Cousins, that was a game that happened on Thursday night. Josh Allen dropped 35 in a game that eliminated New England from the playoffs. And even the Bears blew them out 33 to 14 in a game where Justin Fields ran absolutely wild.

Do we really think Bill Belichick's going to slow down Jalen Hurts? The Eagles offense was the number two scoring unit in the NFL last year. And more importantly, led the league at an average margin of victory. Only 3 of 16 wins came by less than five points. So I'll lay the four points with the Eagles and bet the offense flies high on Sunday.

MINTY BETS: All right. I'm looking at the Bengals-Browns match-up here. Now, we know that Myles Garrett is the best edge rusher in Cleveland, if not one of the best in the league. And they improve that pass rush this offseason by adding Za'Darius Smith, since he is a pass-heavy offense. But Joe Burrow might not be 100% by game day because of this injury he sustained this offseason.

And, I'm telling you, Cinci's offense looked a little lackluster this preseason. So I'm expecting a strong game of defense here, the total set at 47.5, and I am going under. To recap our week one picks, Mark is on the Eagles minus 4 and I'm on the under 47.5 in the Bengals-Browns game.
