- 11 weeks of college football done and dusted. Pamela Bernado bringing you an overrated underrated look at the current Heisman contenders entering week 12 of the college football season.

- Bryce Young.

- The Alabama quarterback is a plus 175 favorite to win the Heisman, overrated at this current price. For one, history is not on Young side. No Alabama quarterback has ever won a Heisman Trophy. And for two, the main question that I have is can Young lead the Crimson Tide to win a national championship? The answer for me is No.

- Sacked 22 times on the season. The most sacks by an Alabama quarterback since 2017. And still needs to get through the second best defense in the country in Georgia a team ranked that is top 10 in quarterback pressure. The potential for injury is real and plus 175 is not worth the risk.

- CJ Stroud.

- The Buckeyes quarterback is plus 225 to win the Heisman. And I would say, underrated. Has comparable stats to that of Young but whether OSU has a better offensive line or Stroud just has a quicker release. Stroud has just seven sacks to his name and that could make all the difference when you are a national title contender. On deck solid defenses in Michigan State and in Michigan. If he can get through those games with ease, then the OSU quarterback will be better prepared for a Georgia defense.

- Kenneth Walker the third.

- 3 and 1/2 to one. Overrated. The Michigan State running back is already behind with one loss and is 19 points underdogs to Ohio State this weekend and closes against Penn State. I may be biased, Yes. But running back for Texas Bijan Robinson was really the only running back that I would have ever considered to win the Heisman used for both the ground game and in the passing game.

- Matt Corral.

- The Ole Miss quarterback is 7 to 1. I'm going to say, overrated. The rebels already have two losses on the season only three Heisman winners have lost more than one game. That was Louisville's, Lamar Jackson. Baylor's, Robert Griffin III. And Texas A&M's, Johnny Manziel. Carroll is nowhere near putting up the passing yards of RG3 or the rushing yards of either Jackson or Manziel. Caroll may maybe having a great season, still doesn't compare.

- Kenny Pickett.

- At 25 to 1, still a hard pass. The Pitt quarterback has no wins against a top 25 team and has two losses against a Mac team and an unranked Miami. Great stats against bad teams.

- Sam Hartman.

- 35 to 1. Properly rated for Heisman odds, but I must say underrated because I love watching Sam Hartman play. The Wake Forest quarterback, absolutely stellar. Still highly unlikely to contend for a Heisman for the same reasons as Pitt. No wins against a top 25 team and has a low 59% completion rate though he is stellar with the long ball. We are likely to see the Demon Deacons face Pitt in the ACC title game. That's definitely one game that I'm looking forward to. But outside of that, there's not much to say.

- My best guess to win the Heisman, CJ Stroud. I may be biased because I do also like Ohio State to not only contend against a Georgia defense but also win the National championship. That does it for another overrated underrated this time looking at the Heisman contenders entering week 12 of the college football season.
