- On Saturday, June 17, we have game 5 of the NBA Finals. The series is tied 2-2, Phoenix is a 4-point favorite, and the total is 217 and 1/2. Milwaukee is 2 and 8 against the spread in its last 10 games as the road underdog while Phoenix is 7 and 2 against the spread in its last nine games as the home favorite.
I'm looking for a bounceback from the Suns. Phoenix played pretty well on Wednesday night, but then allowed Milwaukee to get the best of them at the end, when it really mattered. This game will be played in Phoenix. And I don't want to be a sucker to bet on a team because of home-court advantage, but I think being at home certainly helps.
The Bucks were mighty on defense as Giannis had a vital block in the final minutes and Khris Middleton stepped up in a huge way. But I still like the Suns as home favorites. They shot over 50% from the floor but had a ton of turnovers. Expect them to tighten things up and blow Milwaukee out of the water this time around.
