Becky Lynch reveals she had a cyst removed, declares who she wants at WWE SummerSlam
LOS ANGELES − Amid reports about her injury status, WWE star Becky Lynch said she is doing just fine.
Lynch and husband, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, attended the 2023 ESPY Awards on Wednesday and provided an update after there were reports from Fightful Select that her match against Zoey Stark on Monday Night Raw was going to be pulled because she wasn't medically cleared. Lynch was able to go, however, and ended up winning the match.
The six-time WWE women's champion told USA TODAY Sports she had a procedure done for a cyst and was awaiting clearance for Monday.
"When I landed from London, I had to go to the ER and had to get a cyst removed. Then had to get that redone on Friday, but was in the ring, fine, ready to go by Monday," Lynch said.
"Long story short, she's a savage. Nothing can keep her down," Rollins responded.

With SummerSlam less than a month away, Lynch said she wants Trish Stratus for the event, without Stark by her side so she can "give her a pummeling."
The Lynch-Stratus feud has been building for months, ever since Stratus replaced Lita as her WWE Women's Tag Team title partner and attacked Lynch after losing the titles. The two faced off at Night of Champions, but Lynch lost after Stark interfered.
