JARED QUAY: With the NFL trade deadline less than a week away, teams around the league are making moves. The Chicago Bears sent defensive end Robert Quinn to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for a fourth round pick. Yes, you heard that right. The struggling 3-4 Bears sent their Pro Bowl pass rusher, who logged a franchise record 18 and a 1/2 sacks and 17 tackles for loss last season, to the undefeated Eagles.

- The rich get richer.

JARED QUAY: Quinn's Bears teammate, Roquan Smith, was in the middle of media availability when reporters broke the news about the trade and the linebacker was surprised to say the least.

ROQUAN SMITH: Let me take a second for a second, if you don't mind. Now I have a great deal of respect for that guy, you know. Damn.

JARED QUAY: On one hand, it seemed like Roquan is going to miss his buddy, but those tears could be out of frustration that he is still on the Bears roster. He was a training camp holdout while hoping for a contract extension, but eventually gave in without a new deal. With the trade deadline coming up November 1st, though, there's still time.

- So you're telling me there's a chance.

JARED QUAY: Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts faced a different kind of pressure on Wednesday when he was asked whether he's rooting for the Houston Astros or the Phillies to win the World Series.

JALEN HURTS: Yeah, I mean, I'm Houston born and raised. I love my city. And I'm-- that's my hometown, but my home now is Philly, you know. And I love this city too. That's how I deal with it.

JARED QUAY: Jalen, Jalen, Jalen. I know you're trying to be fair and do the whole dual loyalty thing in the past, but this is a World Series and you live in Philadelphia. Philly fans booed Santa Claus and throw batteries at people. So you be smart my guy. Be smart. You need to disown your hometown and unequivocally throw your support behind the Phillies.

- It's for your own safety.

JARED QUAY: Safety first might not be Russell Wilson's personal mantra after he told reporters Zach Stevens about how he rehabbed his injured hamstring. The Broncos quarterback made good use of his time on the team's flight home from London saying that he spent four hours walking up and down the aisles and doing high knees.

RUSSELL WILSON: Let's ride. Let's ride.

JARED QUAY: It is hella funny. But riddle me this. When is the last time you were on a flight where the fasten seatbelt sign didn't come on once in four hours. If that plane hit a pocket of turbulence, Russ would be out another week, maybe even two weeks, all right. Who's the safety guy? Somebody have to, hey, Russ, go sit back in your seat, man.
