Baseball's Best: All-Bayside South awards recognize season's top players

The 2023 Bayside South baseball season brought plenty of thrills, and it also delivered a state champion to the Eastern Shore, as Parkside grabbed the Class 2A State Championship after also winning the Bayside Conference. With the year wrapped up, All-Bayside Conference recognition was awarded to the season's best players.

Stephen Decatur's Lukas Loring and Snow Hill's Cole Swift were named Co-Bayside South Players of the Year, as they stood out all around the field for their teams. And Parkside ace pitcher Aidan Brinsfield was named the Pitcher of the Year, as he helped lead the Rams to their first state championship with his dominance on the mound. Washington head coach Brain Laird was named Coach of the Year for the Bayside South after leading the Jaguars to a successful season.
