Badger rookie Joe Tippmann put together a solid preseason for the New York Jets

Joe Tippmann was selected in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the New York Jets, with the hopes of him becoming their next starting center.

The Badger product has looked the part of a solid NFL offensive lineman while protecting Aaron Rodgers and other quarterbacks during the Hard Knocks-filled preseason in New York.

According to Pro Football Focus, the Badger rookie has only allowed one pressure on 91 pass block snaps throughout the Jets’ four preseason games. New York has gone 2-2 in those contests.

It feels like a matter of time before the Wisconsin Badger product has a starting role in New York, and we will see if that comes as soon as year one.
