Austin Reaves secures huge deal to become Rigorer shareholder
Los Angeles Lakers guard Austin Reaves may be struggling a bit to start this season, but there is still little doubt that he is a rising stud in the NBA. He’s averaging 13.7 points a game following a revelatory 2022-23 campaign and a very strong run with Team USA in the FIBA World Cup this past summer.
One affirmation that he has arrived as a difference-maker came months ago when he got his own signature sneaker from Rigorer, a China-based company.
Apparently, it sold so well that Reaves has now reportedly received a seven-figure deal from Rigorer that will also make him a shareholder in the company.

At the same time, Rigorer is set to release a new version of Reaves’ signature shoe. It features a new colorway known as “Milky Way” that is predominantly purple, not unlike the purple that graces the Lakers’ uniforms.
Austin Reaves and Chinese basketball brand Rigorer have announced a new contract extension, per @TomerAzarly. He will also become a shareholder of the company.

These new kicks are scheduled to drop on Dec. 8. When the release occurs, Reaves and his team could be hours away from playing for the first-ever NBA Cup in Las Vegas.
