Auburn offers in-state 2025 athlete
Auburn is looking to the future once again with a new recruiting offer.
The Tigers offered 2025 athlete Eric Winters on Saturday, according to his Twitter account. Winters is from Enterprise, Alabama, and he just got done with a visit to the Tigers that likely led to his offer.
Because Winters is a 2025 recruit, he does not have a ranking by 247Sports or a Crystal Ball prediction as to where he will go. Winters is listed as an athlete, but based on his game film, it seems as if he takes a majority of his snaps on defense as a linebacker or safety. At 6’2, 205 pounds, he is certainly poised to make a difference in coverage wherever he commits.
So far, Winters is the seventh player that Auburn has offered from the 2025 class that has the “athlete” designation. Despite the uncertainty around coach Bryan Harsin, the Tigers have been busy making offers to the father out recruiting classes. Whether what happens with Harsin will deter or entice recruits to come to the Plains remains to be seen.
