To learn more about Wilson, here are 10 questions with the senior.

1: What is your favorite sports moment, individually or as team, during your time in high school?

“Getting drafted and playing in the Les Schwab Bowl was one of the most memorable weeks of my high school career, because getting to spend five days with some of the best players in Oregon and building new relationships was incredible. I feel like I grew as a player by competing and taking what I learned from the coaches and putting it to use.”

2: Who is your favorite pro athlete of all time?

“My favorite athlete would have to be (former running back) Reggie Bush, because I look up to him and I try to mimic his play style.”

3: What is your pregame routine for football?

“My pregame routine is once I’m out of school, I head to the trainer to get taped, then put in my AirPods and listen to my pregame playlist while I wait for walk throughs, then I spat my cleats, tape my wrists and put on my drip. Then I do warmups followed by a prayer with my team in the end zone.”

“I would make it so high school players could wear any accessories they want and there wouldn’t be so many uniform restrictions.”

5: What has been your favorite thing to study in high school?

“Financial algebra. It really shows how math is going to be used in everyday life and my future.”

6: Which musical artist or group is your favorite?

“J. Cole because his words carry a lot of meaning and I can relate to his lyrics in a lot of ways. The way he lives his life and his music is an inspiration for me to be better.”

7: If you had to eat the same meal for dinner for an entire week, what would it be and why?

“Steak, because it’s my favorite food and I can mix up the seasonings when I cook it.”
